 Baile Átha Buí  Le Gaeilge

Irish Means Business

Buntáiste na Gaeilge do chúrsaí gnó i mBaile Átha Buí

                                                                                                                    Áth Buí le Gaeilge

Tá gnólachtaí beaga ag úsáid níos mó Gaeilge na laethanta seo ná riamh chun a gcuid seirbhísí don phobal a dhéanamh níos tarraingtí.

Tá aitheantas ag teacht de réir a chéile gur dtlú chuid den díolachán ó lá go lá í an Ghaeilge.

Sé aidhm an leathanach seo ná a thaispeáint conas is féidir níos mó Gaeilge a úsáid i gcúrsaí gnó agus gur ar mhaithe leis an gnó féin atá sé.

Taispeánann an dátheangachais go bhfuil meas agat ar chultúir na tíre agus ar phobal na Gaeilge féin.

Small businesses are increasingly using Gaeilge to enhance their products and services to customers.

Our language, culture and heritage are widely recognised as unique selling points in day to day business.

The aim of this page is to advise you how to be able to use more Gaeilge to become more competitive and successful as a small business.

Using Gaeilge shows that you are proud to be in business in Ireland and that you respect the countries culture and community.

Céimeanna simplí chun an Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn.

Simple steps to give visibility to Gaeilge

·        Redecorating or opening new premises

·        Replacing signage

·        Ordering new stationary

·        Developing new products or services

·        Reprinting literature or producing new material

·        Point of sales materials

Promotional signs   -

Ní gá gach rud a dhéanamh ag an tús ach de réir a chéile.

Téann comharthaí dhátheangach i bhfeidhm go mór ar an bpobal ó thaobh an dearcadh atá acu ar an ghnó /siopa. Chomh maith le comharthaí taobh istigh agus amuigh, d’fhéadfá Gaeilge a chur ar na bhfeithiclí freisin.

Gradually introduce more and more as Gaeilge

Remember, you do not have to change everything at once. You can keep an eye out for opportunities to introduce Gaeilge, -

Bilingual signs have a huge impact on a customers perception of your business. As well as internal and external signage, why not use Irish on your vehicles?

 Is fearr an dátheangachas

Is fearr an dá theanga a bheith le feiceáil ag an am céanna agus tá sé níos saoire é a dhéanamh ar an gcaoi seo. Beidh do chuid custaiméirí ag déanamh iontas de, agus tá rogha teanga ag an bpobal. Bí cinnte go bhfuil an mhéid, an stíl agus an t-eolas atá tugtha sa dá theanga mar a chéile.

 Bilingual is best!

In general bilingual is best and better and more cost effective than producing two separate language versions on signs and literature.  Bilingual creates greater impact and makes the material accessible to everyone.  Make sure that both languages are equal in terms of size, legibility and in terms of prominence.

All printed matter is an opportunity to use both our languages
