Assemble in Athboy (at Fair Green) - Everyone takes their places on bus (Ticket holders only) 10.00 am Bus leaves for the Hill of Ward. Quick visit and music. 10.45 am Trim Castle. Brief tour of the grounds (not enough time to do the full tour of the keep) and music at the castle walls. (contact - tel. 9438619 ) 11.30 am Bective Abbey. 5 min talk and music in the Cloister. 12.15 pm Hill of Tara - tour and music on the top. (tel. 9025903) (have our picnic/lunch before we move on) 2.00 pm Navan - Music at the Poolboy Bridge / River Boyne. 2.45 pm Hill of Slane - music on the summit. 3.30 pm Kells - Music at the Heritage Centre, Round Tower, High Crosses - Guided tour and Audiovisual at Heritage Centre - Refreshments available (Kay or Doreen – 9247840) 5.00 pm Head back to Ráth Chairn, Music outside An Bradán Feasa 6.30 pm Arrive back in Athboy Everyone is asked to bring their own packed lunch (sandwiches, drinks etc) Whereas there is a restaurant at the Hill of Tara, there wont be much time for a sit-down meal, but tea/coffee etc will be available.
